1. Product Introduction
Lydorflam5020 flame retardant is a flame retardant masterbatch based on phosphorus, nitrogen, and bromine as flame retardant elements, mainly applied in polypropylene. It acts through a gas-phase flame retardant mechanism, with an addition of 4% to 8% to meet UL-94 V2 combustion requirements and successfully pass the IEC60695-2 glowing wire test. Compared to traditional brominated flame retardants, its addition amount is low, does not require the addition of antimony trioxide, and has characteristics such as no precipitation, water resistance, and non-toxicity. The product is mainly used in the processing of plastic products such as extrusion and injection molding.

3. Application Characteristics
1. No precipitation: 130℃ baking for 168H, no precipitation on the surface
2. Water resistance: Soaking in 75℃ hot water for 168H, excellent flame retardancy
3. Can be compounded with different minerals such as talc powder and barium sulfate for flame retardancy

4. Processing Precautions
1. Due to the small addition ratio, it must be evenly dispersed to meet flame retardancy requirements;
2. Equipment must ensure accurate temperature control to avoid local overheating due to inaccurate temperature control, leading to the decomposition of the flame retardant. It is recommended to set the processing temperature range at: 170~190 ℃.

With Lydorflam 5001M The flame-retardant polyolefin is free of halogen elements and heavy metal elements, and the flame-retardant product has characteristics such as low density and low smoke generation, capable of passing UL746C and glow wire IEC60695-2 standard tests.
