One, Product Introduction
Lydorflam5013T flame retardant is a flame retardant that uses phosphorus, nitrogen, and bromine as flame retardant elements, functioning through gas phase and dripping flame retardant mechanisms. Adding 1-4% can meet UL-94 V2, glowing wire GWFI 750℃ test, and needle flame test. Compared to traditional bromine-antimony system flame retardants, it has a lower addition amount, does not require additional antimony trioxide, and possesses characteristics such as no leaching, water resistance, and non-toxicity.
Two, Product Specifications
Appearance: white powder Moisture: ≤0.6%
P content: ≥20% Br content: ≤10%
Three, Application Characteristics
1. The recommended addition amount is 1-4%, and the specific addition amount should be determined based on the customer's formula;
2. The glowing wire GWFI 750℃ test can be conducted;
3. Barium sulfate, wollastonite, etc. can be used for filling modification (the addition amount of the flame retardant needs to be appropriately increased);
Four, Processing Precautions
1. Due to the small addition ratio, it must be ensured that it is evenly dispersed to meet flame retardant requirements.
2. Equipment must ensure accurate temperature control to avoid local overheating due to inaccurate temperature control, leading to the decomposition of the flame retardant. It is recommended to set the processing temperature range at: 170~190℃.
