I. Product introduction
Lydorflam5010 flame retardant is an efficient flame retardant using phosphorus, nitrogen, and bromine as flame retardant elements, applied to polypropylene. It acts through gas phase and condensed phase flame retardant mechanisms, and adding 2% can meet the UL-94 V2 combustion requirements and pass the IEC60695-2 glowing wire test smoothly. Compared with traditional brominated flame retardants, its addition amount is low, does not require additional antimony trioxide, and has characteristics such as no precipitation, water resistance, and non-toxicity.
II. Product specifications
Appearance: white powder Moisture: ≤0.5%
P content: ≥8% Decomposition temperature: > 270℃
Br content: ≤2%
III. Application characteristics
1. No precipitation: No precipitation on the surface after baking at 130℃ for 168H
2. High dielectric property: dielectric strength > 6000V
3. Water resistance: Soaking in 75℃ hot water for 168H, excellent flame retardancy
4. Meets IEC60695-2-13 requirement of 775℃ and IEC60695-2-12 requirement of 850℃
5. Excellent high-temperature thermal aging, performance remains unchanged after 150℃, 2000H thermal aging
6. Can be compounded with different minerals such as talcum powder and barium sulfate for flame retardancy
IV. Processing precautions
1. Due to the small addition ratio, uniform dispersion must be ensured to meet the flame retardant requirements;
2. Equipment must ensure accurate temperature control to avoid local overheating due to inaccurate temperature control, leading to the decomposition of the flame retardant. It is recommended to set the processing temperature range at: 170~190 ℃.
V. Packaging and storage
25Kg/bag, transported as general chemicals, stored in a dry and cool place, avoiding direct sunlight.
